3,000 Czech korunas

Service Description

Classic or via ferrata? Dynamic or steel rope? A course awaits you at Bezděčín Rocks, which combines two worlds: sport rock climbing and climbing along a secured route – the so-called via ferrata. Both methods have their charm and specific challenges, and thanks to this combination you will choose which style is closer to you. Or you will find that you absolutely need to do both. And what is the difference between classic rock climbing and via ferrata? In sport or classic rock climbing with a rope, you belay each other with a partner and look for a path along holds and steps directly in the rock. Via ferrata is a protected route with a steel rope and (sometimes) metal steps. Throughout the entire via ferrata climbing, the climber belays himself using a ferrata set and progresses along a predetermined route. What will you learn in this course? The combined climbing course lasts 3 hours and is designed for 1–4 people. Thanks to the ability to adjust the difficulty, both adults and children (accompanied by an adult) will enjoy it. First, you will all try out via ferrata climbing and using the necessary equipment, then you will move on to the classics. There, together with an instructor, you will learn to use climbing equipment and your body to move effectively on the rock. There are many routes on the rocks, from the easiest to the most difficult, so everyone can climb. Via ferrata Bezděčín has two routes - one easy, the other reaches grade C in the most difficult section, where you may even sweat a little. The length of the route is about 80 m and the highest point is 20 m high. During the climb, you can try traverses and even an overhang. The price of the via ferrata and rock climbing course includes: • Accompaniment by a certified climbing instructor, • a three-hour program for 1–4 people, • theoretical instruction, and an even larger portion of practice, • rental of all equipment (except climbing shoes*). * You can bring your own climbing shoes, or pack other sturdy sports shoes that do not slip and will not come off.
