Have you already tried rock climbing, but is it time to push it a little more? Learn to lead climb, belay from the top or prepare for multi-pitch climbs? The Bezděčín Rocks with their slabs and overhangs, where you can find routes up to difficulty XIa, offer ideal terrain for advanced climbers who want to improve their technique, learn new skills and at the same time climb in a calm environment under the guidance of a certified climbing instructor. What will you learn in our climbing course for advanced climbers? The three-hour climbing course is designed for 1-2 people, so you can expect an individual approach and maximum time on the rock. You can choose from several thematic areas depending on what interests you or where you lack confidence: • Lead climbing – the correct technique of leading the rope, clicking on the bolts and rings, working with fear, belaying on the chain and building confidence, proper belaying of the first climber. • Sandstone climbing – specifics of sandstone climbing, setting up slings, belaying the second climber, belaying at the ring, rappelling, belaying at the summit. • Multi-pitch climbing – specifics of multi-pitch climbing, using two ropes, setting up a belay station, belaying the second climber and belaying the first climber at the belay station, rope manipulation, rappelling multi-pitch. • Advanced via ferrata climbing techniques – belaying the second person during the ascent and descent, climbing via ferrata with children, strategies for the entire ascent, dealing with crisis situations. We will lend you basic equipment, but if you have your own, feel free to bring it. The price of the climbing course includes: • Accompaniment by a certified climbing instructor, • a three-hour program for 1–2 people, • theoretical instruction, and an even larger portion of practice, • rental of all equipment (except climbing shoes).
